ARB Fourby Merchandise

September 2008

ARB 4x4 Accessories’ hugely popular kids mascot, Fourby, has just released a brand new cap to add to his range of merchandise already available from ARB stores and stockists.

Fourby was introduced to young, aspiring 4WDers in autumn 2007, and his fan base has already spread throughout Australia and internationally from the US to Romania and Norway. Fully decked out with an ARB bull bar, lights, winch, diff cover and snorkel, Fourby has his own section in the ARB 4x4 Action newsletter, where he encourages kids to share their own fun 4WDing adventures.

The stylish Fourby cap incorporates a bright red and white colour scheme and features a woven badge of the adorable, grinning Fourby on the front, with his name on the side of the cap. Made from 100% cotton brushed drill, the cap also features an adjustable metal fastener on the back, making it easy to alter depending on the age of the child.

The cap follows the recent release of Fourby’s trendy kids t-shirt. Available in blue with a contrasting grey trim on the sleeves and neckline, it features a large, detailed Fourby print on the front. Fully machine washable, the t-shirt is made from 100% cotton and comes in sizes 3 to 12.

Kids can get further involved in Fourby’s fun with his full colour key ring and stickers, with more merchandise to be released in the upcoming months. Grab a copy of the latest ARB 4x4 Action to learn more about Fourby’s recent adventures, competitions and the latest in Fourby merchandise.

Tip:

Water crossings can provide some of the most exhilarating and challenging 4WDriving around. They can also prove to be the most expensive! A 4x4 is not an amphibious vehicle, in fact they are not even waterproof. The actual depth that you can cross depends on your vehicle. For example, a stock LandCruiser may be submerged at the depth a raised Hilux doesn't even wet the door sills. As a general rule, if its above the top of your wheels its probably too deep. A water crossing should not be attempted by inexperienced or ill-prepared 4WDrivers. Prior to a water crossing, it is a good idea to place your recovery gear on top of other luggage. The last thing you want to do is be searching under your fridge, tents and luggage for your recovery gear when you are stuck in the middle of a crossing.
