Toyota Kluger Deluxe Bull Bar

Owners of the Toyota Kluger will now be able to protect their vehicle in style with an ARB deluxe bull bar.

Designed to enhance the versatility of the Kluger, the bull bar has been designed specifically to suit the vehicle’s monocoque construction. This meant producing a reduced weight bar with the same uncompromising protection as ARB’s standard design specifications while still carrying a host of features to enhance your four wheel driving experience.

Maximum strength is paramount for any bull bar and the Kluger is no exception. Incorporating ARB’s renowned multi-fold wing design, this bar provides an enormous amount of frontal protection, while the split pan further increases the strength of the bar while facilitating air flow to the engine. The pan also incorporates a shorter depth which helps to minimise weight but does not compromise the bar’s functionality. A vehicle specific design and mounting system ensures that air bag compatibility is not adversely effected giving peace of mind to you and your family.

With durable urethane buffers and recessed indicators as standard, provision for fog lights and dual CB aerials work to further increase the bar’s versatility. To protect the underbody of the vehicle while off road, large under bar protection panels have been included for defence against debris such as rocks and logs.

Designed to meet individual requirements, owners are able to colour code the bar to suit their vehicle which acts as a stylish alternative to the standard black powder coat finish.  To further improve the practicality of the Kluger, ARB stocks a range of 4×4 accessories for this vehicle including IPF lights, roof load carrying solutions and Old Man Emu suspension. Differences Between 4WD and 2WD The first difference you will notice is that the 4WD has far greater ground clearance than a 2WD. Some 4WD's have what are called free wheeling hubs fitted to the centre of the front wheels. These hubs can be either manual, where there is a knob to be turned, automatic, where once in 4WD the hubs lock automatically or a combination of both. The idea of free wheeling hubs is to disconnect the front diff and axles from the wheel, so when traveling on highway, the vehicle doesn't have to use extra power turning these when they are not wanted.
