Owners of the latest model Mitsubishi Challenger now have access to an extensive range of accessories following months of research and development from the team at ARB 4x4 Accessories. A deluxe bull bar, Sahara bar, roof racks and Old Man Emu suspension are now available.
Deluxe and Sahara bull bars for the Mitsubishi Challenger will provide this vehicle with an enormous amount of frontal protection. The deluxe combination style bar utilises ARB’s traditional design while the Sahara model can be customised with a centre chrome tube to suit individual needs. Both bars feature a number of strength related characteristics including a split pan design for increased airflow and ARB’s multi-fold, upswept wings which also optimise approach angles.
Designed to complement the unique lines of the Challenger, both bars ensure the vehicles retain their air bag compatibility for optimum safety. Suitable for both winch and non winch applications, these bars are able to accommodate a Warn winch up to 9500lb which can be fitted at the time of purchase or at a later date should the need arise.
Both bars are finished in a durable powder coat with the option to colour code and come complete with stylish injection moulded housings to accommodate indicators and optional fog lights. To further increase usability and functionality, these bars also come standard with a number of smart features including twin Hi-Lift jacking points, provision for IPF lights and CB aerials and access to the original equipment tow points.
As well as the protection equipment options for this vehicle, ARB has also produced a number of roof rack models to suit the varying needs of customers. An ARB roof rack is the ideal solution to free up valuable space within the vehicle cabin and we encourage customers to visit their nearest ARB store to discuss the most appropriate solution for their requirements. The fitting kit for these roof racks replaces the factory roof rails and incorporates 3mm laser cut steel mounting brackets and quality stainless steel hardware. Designed to withstand harsh off road environments, all ARB roof racks are finished in a durable millennium grey powder coat with a zinc-rich primer providing 1000 hours of sea salt resistance.
Challenger owners who like to venture off road can now enjoy the benefits of Old Man Emu suspension with the release of a fully integrated suspension system specifically designed for the latest model. For maximum benefits, OME engineers match Nitrocharger Sport shock absorbers to Old Man Emu springs for noticeable improvements in off road handling and load carrying ability. In addition, a front Air Locker is available for the Challenger providing vastly improved traction across all terrain.
ARB sells a range of additional products to make your next trip a memorable one including the ARB Fridge Freezer, recovery equipment and general accessories. For further details on these products and future additions to the Challenger range, please contact your nearest ARB store or stockist.

Tip:
When using the 4x4's brakes hard, your vehicle’s front suspension compresses and you ‘use up’ most of its suspension travel. When braking heavily to avoid an obstacle e.g. pot hole or rut, and you cannot stop in time, release the brake pedal just prior to hitting the obstacle. This will allow the front suspension to return to its normal height and give more suspension travel when hitting the obstacle.
