Are Rear mounted work lights legal?

July 8th, 2010 · No Comments

Hi all, just wondering if a rear mounted work light is legal?

I have a kaymar bracket on the the back of the patrol with an extending mast. On top was a small narva worklight, but I replaced it with my old ipf 900 spotiee after I made a toyota echo into a crushed beer can.

I use the light mainly for when setting up camp as it lights up the area brightly. I also use it on cars or trucks that tailgate and idiots that have high beam on behind me.

So, what do you think? Legal or not?

regards

Tip:

4x4 Engine Revs<br> Too many revs in tricky situations will have your wheels spinning. Spinning wheels have no grip, so as soon as you feel the wheels spin, lower your revs a little so the tyres can regain grip.
