Couple of hours killed at Mt Disappointment. 98 Prado, 60 Series Cruiser.
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Brought to you by 4x4galore.com.
When using the 4x4’s brakes hard, your vehicle’s front suspension compresses and you ‘use up’ most of its suspension travel. When braking heavily to avoid an obstacle e.g. pot hole or rut, and you cannot stop in time, release the brake pedal just prior to hitting the obstacle. This will allow the front suspension to return to its normal height and give more suspension travel when hitting the obstacle.

Sweet FJ 62. At least I think it was a 62 with the 4 head lamps.
Thanks!

In this vid only a 2″ spring lift and 34″ jungle trekkers. Now it has twin lockers but only 33″ bighorns. standard 2H diesel motor. its a pretty clean stock car. cheers.

i never said 80 series on springs are shit, if anything i think they are the pinnacle of 4wds. they are almost perfectly engineered. but 60 series is way over designed, making them tougher then an 80, thats the point i was trying to make. anyhow mate, good luck with your project, 60 on springs would be best of both worlds!

exactly i want i 4×4 that rids well i agree leafs are strong but coils are a long way from being shit
15 hzj79 // Jul 26, 2010 at 6:01 am
why would anyone bother? 60 was buil tough for a purpose! 80 series came out on springs as a result of landcruiser becoming family vechicle and not pure workhorse. extra articulation will not help 60 much, its build like a shit house and got huge ass! i love them though
