2003 TJ Air Conditioner Question
Does anyone know the total capacity of R134a for a 2003 Wrangler with 4.0?I know it is posted on a decal on top of the radiator,but mine is messed up and halfway torn off.I have been trying to charge mine,am up to 2 cans of refrigerant,and the compressor is still cycling on and off.I know this is a sign of low refrigerant,but I don’t want to overcharge it.Before I put a third can in,I would like to know how much factory specs state.Thanks!

It is important to know the position of your front and rear differentials as they are usually the lowest point of your vehicle. Similarly, any other low ground clearance points should be noted e.g. exhaust, spare tyre etc. When a large rock or other obstacle is on a track that you must drive over, you should ensure you avoid driving directly over it with the lowest ground clearance point of your 4x4.
