February 9th, 2012 · No Comments

Just check your vms gps mine is missing south australia. I purchased mine from gpsoz at mona vale and he is currently on hoildays (which is Fine) I am about to enter south australia tomorrow and vms dosen’t use phone numbers for customer service they perfer to waste my day emailing and telling me mine is weird that theres has south australia in it, now tomorrow is a public holiday and I won’t have a gps with the free camps feature when I enter south australia tomorrow

I wouldn’t buy vms again and I will update the outcome of this.

the other thing is you have to be above average on directions when using the gps as part of some of the trips it will tell you to perform a u-turn at major intersections where it isn’t allowed.

Anyway trip is going great

Tip:

The number of driven wheels<br> You may not know this, but the average 4x4 is really only two wheel drive. Jack one rear wheel and one front wheel off the ground, and you will note that the wheels in the air are the ones to spin, not the ones on the ground. Even if your 4x4 has a rear limited slip differential, the same scenario applies. So, what can be done to help in this situation? Well, this is the reason a lot of four wheel drivers fit diff locks. A diff lock fitted to just the rear diff, means that if you have three wheels in the air, the one rear wheel on the ground is enough to continue forward motion. The wheel in the air will spin at exactly the same rate as the one on the ground.
