Suzuki Grand Virata 2007. What happens when you have standard tires and suspension, and have to go through ruts caused by LandCruisers, Prados and even Hummers!. Lower ground clearance than the larger 4x4′s, but shorter wheel base. Standard road tires, and factory standard suspension on this. With a 2 inch suspension lift and proper LT Tires, the little Suzuki can go anywhere the Prados, Landrovers, Landcruisers can… Some scraping noises, but no damage underneath. Sounds worse than it was. The Suzuki has bash plates underneath (plastic). You can replace these with metal plates. By replacing the domestic-suspension (that will lift the body also) with proper off-road springs and shocks, plus proper AT tires (Light Truck), the Suzi is a very capable 4x4 – don’t think that it isn’t. It is set up for school runs because 95% of those that buy the Grand Vitara have that in mind, and the disposable income to buy it. Downside is smallish gas tank, which means doing the Simpson Desert is a big push compared to other 4x4 diesel options. For recreational users the GV is highly capable and highly recommended. Invest in a 4wd training day – it will pay dividends.
03 sierra z71 possible upgrades Does anyone have any suggestions on headlight upgrades? I’ve heard HALO projectors will give me the same effect as an HID conversion for cheaper. I also want to put a remote start/security system, what is the best one out there for the best cost Then the first thing I think I need to do to it is a spray in, which is the best for the cost?
