Hi i want to swap out my tb42 with a td42 my tb has only done 45000k but it is dam thirsty. To do the conversion will i have to change the torque converter and bell housing as the diesel revs lower will that effect the stall. I know the bloke at the wreckers he has offered of all of the parts i need for the conversion and the reco td42 for 00 does that sound like a fair price he has said if there is anything i have forgotten just go back and get it at no extra charge so im really just buying the wreck but he is pulling out all the parts i need sounds fair to me but it is my first motor swap so any advice is a big help.
